St. John’s Adult Bible Study will be presenting Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled by Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow in video presentations on Thursday evenings beginning on February 20th and ending on April 10th. The eight sessions include the presentation along with small group discussions from 7-9 PM in the school annex.
In the Gospel of Luke, you will witness key moments in salvation history. There are parables found only in Luke, including The Prodigal Son, The Good Samaritan, and The Rich Man and
Lazarus which will show you the mercy and compassion that Jesus has for each one of his children. This eight-part study will in show you the beautiful Biblical roots for Mary, the rosary, and the Mass that are found in Luke that can deepen your prayer life and strengthen your personal relationship with Jesus.
Posted on this website is a registration form which can be completed and submitted electronically. Registration forms are also available in the church gathering area and on the information table by the Parish Office. Forms not submitted electronically are to be given to the Parish Office Receptionist. Registration ends on February 14th.
There is a $30 fee for materials which is due at the first session on February 20th. Checks are to be made out to St. John’s. Workbooks will be distributed at our first session and those
registering on the website will receive a full study schedule at that time.
Sessions are held in the school annex. Please use the school parking lot and enter the building marked Parish Office on the lower level. Turn left and use the elevator to proceed to the upper level. Signs will be posted to direct you to study areas.
