Dear Parishioners,

I want to offer a heartfelt word of congratulations to all the boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion here at Saint John’s last Saturday. What a special day it was not only for each of them, but also for their families and the entire parish community!! I pray that God will continue to bless and watch over these children and help them understand the importance of the Eucharist in their lives. May they continue to celebrate this communion with Jesus and their love for Him with their families each Sunday at Mass.

I would like to offer a special word of thanks to all who helped prepare these children for this special day, especially Mrs. Mary Thon and all our teachers, catechists, and aides. They have given a great deal of their time and energy to make this day possible and I am very grateful to them for sharing their faith with our children. May God reward them for their ministry to our parish.
