New officers for the Ladies are Monica O’Neill, President; Barbara Scheffki, Vice President; Grayce Gates, Secretary; Al Fruger, Treasurer; Diane Klaas, Eileenmary King, and Maria Roman, Trustees.
The formal part of the evening ended as it had begun, in prayer. Through the intercession of Mary, Queen of the Knights, and Blessed Father Michael McGivney, Founder of the Knights of Columbus, we pray that these new officers will lead us in our mission of service to St. John’s parish and the community at large.
Father Gregg, our Chaplain, thanked the Knights and Ladies for all their contributions to the parish and community, especially this year during these challenging times of the pandemic.
Grand Knight, Richard Capinpin, made a few presentations and offered his thoughts on the accomplishments from the past fiscal year. Special thanks to all Outgoing Officers of the Ladies Auxiliary and Knights for your service. Everyone should be proud of our accomplishments. He also thanked Father Gregg, the parish staff, and all parishioners for their support of our council and auxiliary.
After adjournment, we all enjoyed some cake, provided by the Ladies Auxiliary. One final note, a special THANK YOU to Mike Grant who is moving out of state. He has been a valuable asset to our council participating in every event, and serving various officer roles. You will be sorely missed!
