Are you a baptized Catholic who attends Mass but has not celebrated the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation? Do you attend Mass with your Catholic spouse even though you are not Catholic? Are you a person from a different faith tradition who seek knowledge of the Catholic Church?
If you can answer YES to any of these questions and would like to know more about becoming a member of the Catholic Church, please contact Deacon Tim Davidson at 630-837-6500 or create a Contact Us for more information on how to begin the most important spiritual journey of your life.
St. John’s welcomes all those who are seeking a deeper relationship with the Trinity through the Roman Catholic Church. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a spiritual journey leading to the celebration of the three sacraments of initiation – Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. (Once you have celebrated these three sacraments you are considered to be fully initiated into the Church.)
