Our 7th and 8th graders had a great time on their trip to Washington, DC! They visited many of the monuments and memorials, as well as the Capital and Supreme Court buildings. They went to Arlington National Cemetery and saw the eternal flame at John F. Kennedys burial plot and watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was a lot of walking (over 8 miles each day), but oh so worth it. the most impactful for many of the students was the visit to the Holocaust Museum.
