St John the Evangelist Parent Teacher Club (SJE PTC) is a volunteer organization that aims to establish and coordinate social and fundraising events that promote the spiritual and education welfare of St John the Evangelist School, its staff, students, and their families. It is comprised of a parent board, parent volunteers, St John the Evangelist teacher liaison, and the Principal.
Can’t commit to donating a lot of time? It’s ok - we are all busy, too! Your average monthly time commitment is for meetings (which are once a month) and last about an hour. Time committed outside of that depends on your role and what you want to give. Consider advocating for your students and the staff - we’d love to have you! Contact us at [email protected] for more info.
What does the PTC do?
The PTC plans and hosts various events for our school and their families. In the past, PTC has held such exciting events like Outdoor Movie Night, Skating Parties, Santa's Workshop, Junior High Dances, various family events, and much more! In addition, we organize local benefit nights and coordinate fundraising efforts throughout the year.
When does the PTC meet?
2023 - 2024 Meetings will be held via zoom on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month except December. Meeting Dates are listed below - Join us to find out more about everything we have planned!
October 10, November 14, January 9, February 13, March 12, April 9 and May 14.
How can I get involved?
Our organization is powered by the creativity and collaboration of its volunteers and we need parents and guardians from all backgrounds to bring engagement and active advocacy. Your suggestions and ideas may inspire others in unexpected ways so do not hesitate to contribute! Never chaired or assisted at an SJE PTC event before? No problem! We are here to guide you every step of the way! We will honor your time constraints and never push you to commit more than you want or are able to. Contact Us for more info!
